Welcome
Essex County Council would like to welcome you to the live webcast of the Full Council meeting on 16th June 2009.
From here you will be able to access the webcast, view or complete any surveys and access documents associated with the webcast.
What is a Webcast?
A webcast is basically a transmission of audio and video over the internet. Video cameras at a Council meeting capture the live information and send it to a central server, which in turn sends it to anyone that would like to view the meeting. Through the use of your internet connection (either broadband or via a dial-up modem) and Windows Media Player you can view the meetings live from the comfort of your own home.
Should you miss a meeting, or would like to view a section again, then you can view the archive of the webcast. The archive allows you to view the meeting at your leisure and, through the use of index points, allows you to jump to a specific agenda point or speaker.
